Our Services
OPEN MRI
An MRI - Magnetic Resonance Imaging, is a non-invasive procedure, utilizing magnetic fields, radio waves, and computers to generate detailed images of soft tissues within the body, which are vital to making an accurate diagnosis. This advanced diagnostic option has no known side or after-effects. Our goal is to provide a comfortable MRI experience. Fortunately, PDC’s Open MRI is the perfect answer to those who are anxious, claustrophobic, suffer from post-traumatic stress syndrome, or for a pediatric, elderly, frail, or large habitus patient.
ULTRASOUND
Patients who come to Pennsauken Diagnostic Center for ultrasound - a non-invasive, diagnostic tool using high-frequency sound waves to generate tissue and organ images, receive compassionate care in our state-of-the-art facility. Results are prepared by one of our highly trained ultrasound technologists and interpreted by one of our knowledgeable and experienced board-certified radiologists. We welcome any questions and provide ultrasound instructions. Referring physicians and attorneys receive results quickly, generally within 24 - 48 hours.
DIGITAL X-RAYS
When diagnosing many illnesses and injuries, healthcare practitioners often begin with x-rays, a non-invasive diagnostic tool. X-rays have come a long way from their inception in the 1900s. We offer digital x-rays (digital radiography), which are a safer option to produce accurate, diagnostic images than film x-rays. This means 80% less radiation, as well as being more efficient, cost effective and available almost immediately. Often, there is no discomfort and no preparation.
