Dr. Steven Brownstein is a highly respected, Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist, with over 30 years of experience providing patients and physicians with state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging. He began his career at Rutgers University, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, graduating Summa Cum Laude and receiving his Bachelor of Science. Continuing with his education, he earned his M.D. degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Brownstein completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.

Throughout his career, Dr. Brownstein has provided training to students and fellow radiologists, taught certifications courses on MRI interpretation for the ANJC (Association of New Jersey Chiropractors),as well as offering educational lectures to the community.

In 2015, Dr. Brownstein became a member of the Board of Directors National Pain Foundation. He has received numerous honors and awards, some of which are in the chiropractic community. These include:

• Contributor to Yochum and Rowe ” Textbook of Skeletal Radiology”

• Contributor to Marchiori’s Textbook of ” Clinical Radiology”

Dr. Brownstein is a preeminent authority on Imaging of Spinal Instability. In addition, he is instrumental in providing critical information for the proper diagnosis and subsequent treatment of spinal ligament injuries.
